If we miss a significant mechanical, safety or structural fault that was present at the inspection, we refund your inspection fee and pay up to $3,000 towards the repair, paid directly to the repairer. The car must be bought within 48 hours of the inspection, the claim raised within 14 days of the report, and the repair must cost more than $1,000, confirmed in writing by a licensed mechanic.
